It is amazing how weather can affect your sense of smell… Especially, skin’s chemistry with perfume…
Lithuania is my home country… Even though I have lived in Ireland for more than ten years now, it will always stay in my heart as home… With its fields (flat as the back of my hand), its green forests (full of wild mushrooms, delicious blueberries and raspberries, and hazelnuts), also many sky-blue lakes and rivers…
It was quite an unusual November and December in relation to perfumes. I kept going through my sample stash, trying out new scents. Some became my favourites instantly, the others I will be hardly coming back to just yet… Unless, a few months later my nose will crave for something new to re-discover… 🙂
Hi there! 🙂
1. #SOTD Versace – Crystal Noir (edt)
A little yum yum, or obtrusive at all… just a gentle fruity, flowery touch to my skin… very versatile and wearable at all occasions 🙂 lasted on me all day, which I’m also very pleased about… 🙂
My dear beautiful people,
Today I would like to tell you a little bit about my new discovery – the perfume brand Dorin. This is a very historical perfume house, creating also powders and creams for Versailles since 1780…
I have discovered it very much by accident at one of Kristiana stores, while sniffing never before seen perfumes.. Their bottles are very attractive and quite different from others.. so are their scents.. 🙂 Continue reading “Bonjour Project – Day 20”
Hello my lovelies,
Today Vilnius lit up the Christmas tree 🙂 there was a beautiful concert, very many local music stars came on stage, and the whole cathedral square was filled with people 🙂 even with rain and occasional snow, the atmosphere was very cozy. It felt like the whole huge family came together to celebrate this event 🙂 Continue reading “Bonjour Project – Day 19”
Dear fragrance friends,
With a joyful heart I am returning to you after a couple of days. They were filled with loads of mini trips, exciting visits to fragrant stores / markets, and also a few history / culture related tours.. 🙂
1. #SOTD – I was indeed bouncing in between the Salvador Dali perfume (you may find a little review on it in a previous blog post, from Day 16) and Love, Chloe. Continue reading “Bonjour Project – Day 17 & 18”
Dear friends,
Here’s just a little taster of a jewel that I recently discovered in Kristiana in Vilnius.
#SOTD – Dali by Salvador Dali 🙂
It is the first fragrance by Dali, created in the 1983. This is a perfectly balanced scent, created for his muse Gala, the love of his life. Continue reading “Bonjour Project – Day 16”
Time flies enormously fast. Every single moment is of such value these days that I can barely hold on to this train. At the same time it feels like I’ve been writing this blog for two months already, and only because of the title these posts I can actually base myself.. Two full weeks. What have I discovered? What have I learnt?..
1. #SOTD Patchouli Intense by Parfums de Nicolai. Needed something to ground myself.. And I really don’t know why I think patchouli fragrances should have the stabilizing effect.. but for me they do… Continue reading “Bonjour Project – Days 14 & 15”
Hello my dear friends,
Today has been a lucky day 😉
1. #SOTD – a mixture of very many The Merchant of Venice perfumes, but at the end I layered my scarf with Lyric from Amouage… just because it was there on a shelf, staring at me… and now I feel it everywhere… it is my favorite fragrance from this brand.. 🙂 Continue reading “Bonjour Project – Day 13”
