A quick snap of one of the most refreshing summer scents in my fragrance wardrobe – juicy, spicy, fruity, woody – Eau Des Merveilles by Hermes. I always feel like with a box of salty bitter oranges in my face when I wear it 🙂

Here is something I have never thought I would write: green, aromatic, woody freshness and sweetness – Xeryus from Givenchy took over my hot summer perfume choices this week.
Feels like a walk in a forest on a dewy summer morning. Fresh and peaceful.
Masculine? Quite, yes. But as masculine as Eau des Marveilles by Hermes, or Pomelo by Jo Loves… Or any other salty, aquatic, woody scent… The heat in the air smooths it all out..
Are you a fan of opposite sex perfumes? Do you still read the labels anymore? 🙂 And if so, would you go for something totally different (fragrance wise) if it wasn’t for the label?
For the last couple of months I have been adjusting myself to all the new sensations that have been happening to me.
My nose and senses are readjusting to all the smells around, and it is more intense than ever before. I love it, though. Because I get to rediscover all the amazing fragrances that have been sitting on the shelves all this time!

It felt rather chilly today at times… only 19-20 degrees.. as compared to the usual high 20’s…
The garden hose pipe ban is still active, car washing services are closed, and the best selling item in stores is drinking water…apart from ice cream and fruit… I am even making my own avocado ice cream at home, just to keep me going… Continue reading “Heatwave Challenge – It Is Here To Stay”→
Freshly squeezed piece of news – the heatwave is here to stay! 🙂🔥

Today was the very first day I ever saw the thermometer bar reach 30 C heat in Ireland… After ten years, I can hardly remember what that feels like… Our usual Irish weather would be a balmy 16 C, rain or shine.. ok ok, sometimes we would get an odd 20 C, but only for a day or two… This time, the record breaking heat wave is set to stay with us for another two weeks! We have been blessed in Ireland with a beautifully warm summer so far this year, and it is unbelievable how this sunny weather changed the people. All I see around are smiling, happy, cheerful faces! And it is finally possible to put the woolly jumpers away, and reach for tank tops and shorts. You have no idea, how joyful it makes me feel! 🙂 Continue reading “Esxence Diary – Accendis”→
Something truly remarkable happens when you don’t expect anything and just go with the flow.. Once again I was proven right on the last day of my trip in Paris. 🙂
Before this summer ends, even though it only just started in Ireland, I have decided to post a list of the best perfumes this season! I noticed that it really depends on the heat during the day, that is why I divide my list into two groups: Continue reading “Best Fragrances For Summer”→
This year is quite unusual and I find myself travelling more than ever, and I am loving it! 🙂 Recently my better half (let’s call him Mr.G) took me on a lovely short break in Paris via Amsterdam. Every day of the trip was a fragrant adventure… 🙂
