For the last couple of months I have been adjusting myself to all the new sensations that have been happening to me.
My nose and senses are readjusting to all the smells around, and it is more intense than ever before. I love it, though. Because I get to rediscover all the amazing fragrances that have been sitting on the shelves all this time!
I must be honest, I am loving this new theme on the blog – Perfume Portraits! It is so nice to get back to taking pictures again! 🙂 It felt like I lost the skill (and desire) somewhere at some stage… But it is so lovely to see that exciting feeling coming back, at last! 🙂

Introducing Perfume Portraits – the new heading for 2019! And to kick start it – a little duo from Roads.
Roads is an Irish niche perfume company. I have noticed them stocked at Harvey Nichols store in Dundrum Town Center in Dublin. And luckily enough I managed to snatch these babies at a local TK Maxx store for a fraction of a price.
Architecture, literature, music, painting, sculpting, poetry…. Art… Onyrico – the Italian perfume house is all about paying tribute to the Italian art…. It is about taking the time to appreciate, evaluate, admire… Onyrico is creativity… It is a dream that becomes a reality. Onyrico is about freedom and independence.
It was quite an unusual November and December in relation to perfumes. I kept going through my sample stash, trying out new scents. Some became my favourites instantly, the others I will be hardly coming back to just yet… Unless, a few months later my nose will crave for something new to re-discover… 🙂
Tom Ford and his legendary fragrance Black Orchid. Our heads have been spinning from 2006 with its very recognizable trail.
