Lithuania is my home country… Even though I have lived in Ireland for more than ten years now, it will always stay in my heart as home… With its fields (flat as the back of my hand), its green forests (full of wild mushrooms, delicious blueberries and raspberries, and hazelnuts), also many sky-blue lakes and rivers…
It felt rather chilly today at times… only 19-20 degrees.. as compared to the usual high 20’s…
The garden hose pipe ban is still active, car washing services are closed, and the best selling item in stores is drinking water…apart from ice cream and fruit… I am even making my own avocado ice cream at home, just to keep me going… Continue reading “Heatwave Challenge – It Is Here To Stay”
For the last couple of nights I’ve been falling asleep with Sylvaine Delacourte‘s fragrances from La Collection Muscs. This is a collection of five perfumes, each embracing a different relationship with musk. I find them calming, soothing.. Just perfect for testing and a good night’s rest…

Let us celebrate the International Women’s Day! 🙂 may it be full of joy, colors, sunshine and fragrance 🙂 be happy! 🙂

1. #SOTD – Douglas Scents
Douglas, with close to 2000 stores across 19 countries, is a leading perfume and cosmetics company offering an extremely wide range of products.
And today I am trying out three mini scents from their own collection.
Hello my dear readers,
I hope you’re all enjoying this lovely time of the year, wherever you are. Days in Lithuania are very different from one another. I am used to this from living in Ireland, so nothing can surprise me anymore.. unless it is snow! 🙂 I love snow 🙂 especially when the ground is freshly covered with a nice thick layer of it.. and as you walk, you can hear it crunch underneath your feet…. 🙂 everything around then looks so peaceful and festive… ❤
I hope this blog post finds you well.. and whatever troubles you are experiencing, they are not unbearable.. keep up the good spirits, and never lose hope…
1. My #SOTD was Dali EDP by Salvador Dali.. I am so happy with its trail and longevity, and the whole fragrant cocktail of flowers, aldehydes and amber … 10/10 🙂
