The Burren Perfumery and its masterpiece – Winter Woods. This fragrance is so versatile! It is at the same time warm and cooling, herbal and woody, so I find it very easy to wear at any time of the year.
There are days that have moods. And then there are perfumes that fit those moods. Choosing a wrong perfume could ruin a lot… On the other hand, choosing the right one feels like it completes the picture – and you wouldn’t have it any other way.
Unfortunately, I do not remember how or when I got it, but boy am I glad I randomly picked it up the other day! Wow what a delicious rose & peony bouquet this is!
Well, there was no parade, of course! And I don’t think we did anything else that memorable.. It would have been fun to bring out my little one to town and see the parade, but I suppose we’ll have to wait till next year… or the one after that.
What a beautiful spring we are entering here now in Ireland. Sunny days with loads of trees and early spring flowers are blooming around. The traveling restrictions are being lifted a little bit, and it feels so much nicer to just walk out of the house without a fear of being caught crossing a 5km zone..
Sampling is a great way to try out a perfume on your skin and see how you feel about it and how you enjoy wearing it at different times of day and in different moods.

With the beginning of 2021 I decided to start a project of revisiting my perfume collection and writing a post about my findings. It might take me a while but I think it is necessary I do so.
First of all, Bonjour Perfume blog was created for this particular reason – it was meant to be like my diary about fragrances. And second of all, as much as I love niche perfumes, I realized how closed off and limited I became – circulating probably only among ten bottles, forgetting and pushing aside all other fragrances in the collection just because they were designer scents, easily available in stores, not niche…
