Well, there was no parade, of course! And I don’t think we did anything else that memorable.. It would have been fun to bring out my little one to town and see the parade, but I suppose we’ll have to wait till next year… or the one after that.
This year has been a rollercoaster of emotions and events and I never got to just sit down and write a blog post about the unusual fragrant discoveries or my favourite scents of the day..

New Year – new beginning – new themes on the blog! 🙂
Introducing Perfume Portraits – the new heading for 2019! And to kick start it – a little duo from Roads.
Roads is an Irish niche perfume company. I have noticed them stocked at Harvey Nichols store in Dundrum Town Center in Dublin. And luckily enough I managed to snatch these babies at a local TK Maxx store for a fraction of a price.
Majda Bekkali sounds like a magical spell to me.. This is a name of a very creative and passionate lady, born in Morocco. And this relatively new fragrance house is with us since 2009.

The very first time I tried it, it must have been around 2013 or so.. And I got such a punch in my nose from it! I hated it, to be honest, as it was too overpowering! It was giving me headaches, and I couldn’t understand what all the fuss was about… Continue reading “The Many Faces Of Black Orchid”→
It felt rather chilly today at times… only 19-20 degrees.. as compared to the usual high 20’s…
The garden hose pipe ban is still active, car washing services are closed, and the best selling item in stores is drinking water…apart from ice cream and fruit… I am even making my own avocado ice cream at home, just to keep me going… Continue reading “Heatwave Challenge – It Is Here To Stay”→
