I acquired some of them (and others, not in the picture) from Vanves – an antiques market in Paris. I knew the juice would be just for show, but the bottles! 😍 so so cute!
At the start of 2020 none of us could have predicted the extremely different year ahead. A year of a lot of uncertainty, pain, and sorrow. But also hope, kindness, and desire for change. Only through the hardship we tend to evolve, though. So, as this year is nearing the end, I am certain, each one of us have been through their own hell and back, and now more than ever we have learnt the most about ourselves, as single individuals and as a society.
Recently, my nose has been acting up and for a very long while I wasn’t able to enjoy many fragrances as much as I usually would… The very few scents helped me get through this time, and one of them was the wonderful creamy perfection dedicated to iris – Splendiris by Parfums Dusita.

Lithuania is my home country… Even though I have lived in Ireland for more than ten years now, it will always stay in my heart as home… With its fields (flat as the back of my hand), its green forests (full of wild mushrooms, delicious blueberries and raspberries, and hazelnuts), also many sky-blue lakes and rivers…
How would you describe the feeling of oneness?… How would you explain to someone what it feels to be in love?… What scent would be ideal to describe happiness? Or…how would you scent elegance?..
The perfume which can answer all these questions stands just in front of me. Meet Aurora by Charles Wong.
Architecture, literature, music, painting, sculpting, poetry…. Art… Onyrico – the Italian perfume house is all about paying tribute to the Italian art…. It is about taking the time to appreciate, evaluate, admire… Onyrico is creativity… It is a dream that becomes a reality. Onyrico is about freedom and independence.

This week I am taking my first steps into Arabic / Oriental scents with Kajal Perfumes Paris.
The Arabic world has fascinated me since my early days because it is so different from everything in the mainland Europe. Sand storms, intense heat, camels…where do I even begin?
