The other day I realized that it’s been years since I touched Penhaligon’s Peoneve last time. Well, mainly because it used to play tricks on me and I never got to enjoy the scent properly…
With the beginning of 2021 I decided to start a project of revisiting my perfume collection and writing a post about my findings. It might take me a while but I think it is necessary I do so.
First of all, Bonjour Perfume blog was created for this particular reason – it was meant to be like my diary about fragrances. And second of all, as much as I love niche perfumes, I realized how closed off and limited I became – circulating probably only among ten bottles, forgetting and pushing aside all other fragrances in the collection just because they were designer scents, easily available in stores, not niche…
Just a quick notice today as the Burren Perfumery has just announced a promotion – 20% discount on all their stock excluding their newest fragrance Wild Rose. This is a great chance to try their beauty, skin care products, soaps, and perfumes.
At the start of 2020 none of us could have predicted the extremely different year ahead. A year of a lot of uncertainty, pain, and sorrow. But also hope, kindness, and desire for change. Only through the hardship we tend to evolve, though. So, as this year is nearing the end, I am certain, each one of us have been through their own hell and back, and now more than ever we have learnt the most about ourselves, as single individuals and as a society.
Wild Rose, the newest creation of the Irish perfume house The Burren Perfumery, could not have come at a better time.

I had a chance to finally try these, and two days later the scents still linger on very strong.
[I must also say, the fragrance community is very influential 😀 ]
And here are my favorites from the trip: 🙂
Maison Lancome – Parfait de Roses, Oud Bouquet
Tom Ford – Cafe Rose, Noir de Noir
My scent of the day today is Kiss by Rihanna.
[Plum – white florals – vanilla]
I have surprised myself with this choice but when the husband brings you a present… you accept it… 🙂

When the morning rush is over it’s time for a little treat.
It always comes paired with a delicious mug of tea, something sweet, and a scent which lifts me up. That’s a moment of peace, time to gather my thoughts and move on with the day. Like a ritual – extremely important.
Sample of the day comes from Imaginary Authors – Memoirs of a Trespasser
[Vanilla – guaiac wood – resin]
Today I am celebrating together with Parfums Dusita as their poetry competition ended yesterday and we were finally able to read all the winning poems 🙂
Parfums Dusita have recently announced of another creative competition – and this time it is poetry!
The perfume brand invites you to create a short piece of poetry (3-5 lines, preferably Haiku) under two themes – Love and Freedom – and submit your entry till June 15th, 2020.
As you may know, Parfums Dusita fragrances have a very strong bond with poetry, as each scent was created after a poem.
The prizes are very attractive, so it would be a sin not to participate 😉
Please follow the link bellow to enter the competition, and good luck to all! 😊💖
