Long Lost Scents – Miss Dior Cherie

Oh what a delicious fragrance this is – Miss Dior Cherie (edp) from the house of Christian Dior!

I have always perceived this fragrance as a very happy scent. Strawberries, mandarins, roses and jasmine – could there be anything more sunny and joyful?

And I am delighted that I decided to revisit Miss Dior Cherie today. It was so nice to find that the scent hasn’t turned bad after so many years!… It was warm, sweet, fruity, floral, and happy, happy, happy! 🙂 I could not stop sniffing my wrist and smile all day! 🙂

There is a definite resemblance to Chanel’s Coco Mademoiselle and even to Van Cleef & Arpels – Oriens. But I think as much as it is alike to other fragrances, Miss Dior Cherie still has it’s own aura about it. Or maybe I am just attaching the memories associated with this perfume to my current experience… 🙂

Whatever the reason, I am glad I made the right choice choosing the scent for the day. With Miss Dior Cherie – could there be anything more perfect for spring / summer? 🙂 I cannot praise this perfume enough… I simply love Miss Dior Cherie!

This beautiful scent was created in 2011 by master and in-house perfumer of Dior – Francois Demachy, who has produced very many great fragrances, including Poison Girl and JOY.

Also, Miss Dior has many flankers and I am curious to try the current releases for comparison. But let’s leave this for another post, another time.

I hope there are many more happy people out there, sharing my love for Miss Dior Cherie 🙂
