Happy Mother’s Day to all the Mums and Mums-to-be! ❤

Today I come across the third Mother’s day this year. I have never really payed that much attention before but this year is different. I became a mother myself.. And as I think of it now, it doesn’t really matter what the exact date is, what matters is that you can remember to say thank you to your mum.

Say thank you for giving you life. For raising you and spending countless sleepless nights just watching you breathe. Say thank you for all those kisses and hugs… And for all the wholehearted advice and support through tough times.

Now, it might not be your mum… it quite possibly be your dad or your best friend… What is the person that helped you grow as a human being?… Say thank you to them… For they put the effort in caring about you, they put in the hours and sweat molding you to become the person you are today… Because all the experience in our lives brings us where we are today. So, appreciate it, honour it, celebrate it…

For some of us it is too late to pick up the phone and hear mum’s voice again.. In that case, say thank you in your prayer, in your thoughts… And remember something very very good about her – her favourite flower, or colour, or scent… And just say thank you… ❤

I have decided previously to close down this blog due to the lack of time and purely because I felt I could not dedicate myself to it fully anymore.. This tiny break was necessary for me to also notice how much I have missed it. So, I might not write that many posts from now on but, I believe, I will still continue on writing about every scent-related aspect that comes my way… If you are, I appreciate you reading this blog, as it grows together with me..
