Scent of the week – Elie Saab Le Parfum

For the last couple of months I have been adjusting myself to all the new sensations that have been happening to me.

My nose and senses are readjusting to all the smells around, and it is more intense than ever before. I love it, though. Because I get to rediscover all the amazing fragrances that have been sitting on the shelves all this time!

At the moment, I am going through a very unusual period, in relation to perfumes. For the last few months I keep coming back to light, airy, fresh and quite sharp scents. I love anything with citrus, oranges, salt! And cannot even come close to anything remotely sweet or even floral.

I am missing all my attraction to amber and oud, but for the moment those babies will just have to wait… πŸ™‚

And yes, as the title of this post suggests, the scent of the week is another new thing to me πŸ™‚ I am so delighted that at last I get to enjoy a scent for more than a day or two! It’s like I cannot get enough of it! πŸ™‚

Elie Saab – Le Parfum (edp) is my first in the series. It is so light and elegant, and refreshing. I love the slightly sweet notes of orange blossom and jasmine. The joy that this combination emanates feels everlasting!. Fantastic work from the perfumer Francis Kurkdjian ❀

It has been a delightful and very fragrant spring so far πŸ™‚ I hope you’re enjoying yours too πŸ™‚
