Recently, my nose has been acting up and for a very long while I wasn’t able to enjoy many fragrances as much as I usually would… The very few scents helped me get through this time, and one of them was the wonderful creamy perfection dedicated to iris – Splendiris by Parfums Dusita.

This scent carries the DNA of Parfums Dusita – there is something poetic and dreamy about it, very exclusive and different to everything in the market at the moment. Fantastic quality of the ingredients and the pure heart of master perfumer Pissara Umavijani together with her father’s poem creates a masterpiece – the fragrance so irresistible that it easily became my favourite scent from this perfume house.
To me, it speaks of perfection… it creates a cloud of completeness around me as I spritz my wrists with it… There is everything in this bouquet – freshness, sweetness, creamy powder of iris, joyous orange, mandarin, and jasmine sambac, and seductive vanilla… Splendiris slightly reminds me of Erawan (another masterpiece by Parfums Dusita) with a more powdery floral take. The fragrance stays on skin all day, and it’s projection is very pleasant. I think, it is ideal for spring time!
I also love that all Parfums Dusita fragrances are inspired by M.Umavijani’s poetry. That way every scent has its story, its background, something other people can relate to, also. Poetry is something that makes us stop and think a little longer, makes us feel that little bit differently…
It amazes me how quickly time flies… Same as last year, April is the month of Esxence – the perfume exhibition in Milan, Italy. I won’t be able to attend it this year but that’s where Parfums Dusita and Pissara Umavijani is going to be, for sure! The perfume house is presenting Splendiris – their newest creation – to the public. So, if you’re not sure where to spend the end of April yet, or if you’re in Milan that week, definitely dedicate at least a day to explore the Esxence show! I was so lucky to meet so many nice people from the fragrance world at the show last year that I am sure you will be delighted if you stopped by there too.

This sounds so beautiful! I’ve become a fan of iris in fragrance over the last few years, and I hope I get a chance to try this one. I wish I could be in Milan in April!

Oh you’d love it! It is so very different from any iris scents that I’ve tried… If you’re in Paris, Parfums Dusita have it available at their boutique. And it should be out on their website by the end of the month. Please let me know how you like it whenever you get to try Splendiris 🙂 ❤
