#Scentoftheday – Muse by Rouge Bunny Rouge

It is a lovely warm, sunny tone to the day here in the deep countryside on the East coast of Ireland… There is a little 8.5 km loop through the bogs, hills, and valleys…I have spritzed a touch of Muse on the wrist and am heading for the walk. Usually maybe a car or two would pass me by, so it is serene and peaceful… With sheep and cow farms, left and right… 🙂 Half an hour into my walk, as I sniff my wrist again, the crispy white flower bouquet eases off nicely into a slightly sweet jasmine scent…and I think that sweetness reminds me a little of a shot of sambuca.. 🙂 or star anise 🙂 it is nice and fresh, perfectly suitable for a warm day of spring. Also, that touch of sweetness I find cozy and gently warming, just right when a strong chilly breeze from the sea meets me on a hill top. I used to be so madly obsessed with jasmine perfume years ago that now Muse brings out a smile to my face… I would have adored it back then! 🙂 And I do like it now… 🙂 A crispy and refreshing scent of jasmine – a perfect companion for my walk on a very warm day! And with Irish summer’s highest temperatures barely reaching 20 degrees C, I think this Muse will stick will me for a while longer… 😉

Now, this baby is on fire! Dusty peppery smoky smokes! And oh so dry, like the desert wind! Which I can only imagine what it can feel like… (It is quite amazing, when I think about it now, how sometimes difficult it is to express smells with words created for tastes and feelings…) And here I am this evening, being brought to an incense filled church… It is a rather old church, with a wooden interior… Or it could equally be an old Victorian style prayer room… And it feels calm and peaceful.. Just like the time when there’s no one around and I am about to light a candle, close my eyes and gather my thoughts… Embers slightly reminds me of Tom Ford’s Sahara Noir, just isn’t as dry as Sahara… Wear it generously at night, this balsamic woody perfume will carry you into the morning light…
