Hello my lovelies,

Today Vilnius lit up the Christmas tree 🙂 there was a beautiful concert, very many local music stars came on stage, and the whole cathedral square was filled with people 🙂 even with rain and occasional snow, the atmosphere was very cozy. It felt like the whole huge family came together to celebrate this event 🙂

Today has also been a day for donations. The collections from Išsipildymo Akcija will be for the children in need. People were invited to donate during the concert and also live program on tv. It was an emotional evening, as different stories about Lithuanian children were shown on tv and on screens during the concert. Especially one moment was very memorable when the presenter of the concert brought a little boy on stage, named Milanas 🙂 Milanas was not able to walk. However, thanks to this donation event and the money collected last year, he stood up and kicked a ball off the stage this evening! 🙂

I’m so humbled watching people gather together and give the last few quid they have, all for the better good, for the results like Milanas’ treatment, and very many more… because the best for us adults is a joyous laugh of a child…

P.s. the Christmas market is open every day up until the first week of January, 2018. Don’t forget to try the hot wine and icing sugar coated mini doughnuts… 😉
