Bonjour Project – Day 2

Bonjour, my darlings..

This has been a day of getting lost in the streets of Old Town Vilnius; sampling foods that trigger many memories; and skin pampering… šŸ™‚

1. #SOTD Love, Chloe – Chloe

I brought this beauty with me and today was perfect for it – the rain felt very heavy, nearly like lumps of snow, but it was warm enough and I needed something refreshing yet warming at the same time. I was so happy that I brought my umbrella with me too, however, watching the city disappear slowly in the dark, and the streets and shops light up, it felt comforting. Just walking around and letting the inner silence lead the way was so relieving.. A lot is said about being in the moment, the trick is to shut down one’s mind..

#SOTN Chloe Absolu de Parfum – Chloe

A totally different sister than Love, Chloe – a patchouli / rose / vanilla blend makes it more of a down-to-earth fragrance…grounding, sharp, very clear, complete, absolute, like an Armani suit… šŸ™‚

2. Little discoveries of the day

Upon coming to Lithuania, I was so looking forward to getting hand and body creams, facial scrubs and washes, etc etc. There’s a huge selection of products of highest quality, all made in LT, using mainly natural products, and all for 1-3 euros. (Some highest priced items would be up to 7-8 euros..) And what’s most important, it does all what it says on the tin – moisturizing, rejuvenating, gentle to your skin… without killing its natural balance.. So there I am, proudly walking past L’Oreal Elvital and Head & Shoulders, and picking up Margarita or Rasa brands šŸ™‚ And whenever you come to visit this beautiful country, please, don’t shy away from them too. I can promise you won’t regret it šŸ™‚

3. Something to be thankful for

Today I am thankful for the people who might be tired or angry or upset, but who still find the will and strength to smile genuinely, or help others, even with directions.. I am thankful for the kindness of people. Especially, to the ones working in customer service – you are the carrier of hope for society… ā¤

P.s. oh yes, and this is just a little taster of what evenings are like up here.. šŸ˜‰

(not all gone! šŸ™‚ Like one famous lady said about French women on tv today – if they have a big dinner, the next two days – they’re on salads and water šŸ™‚ so, balance is key! šŸ™‚ )

Goodnight , peeps.. sweet dreams..
