Bonjour, Ladies and Gentlemen!

It was not very hard to choose the very first fragrance for this blog… It has to be COCO by Chanel! 🙂

My collection has started with Eau de parfum years ago… However, only recently my friend helped me discover the lighter version of this beauty.. And I am falling in love with it more and more!..

Over the years I was so obsessed with any Eau de parfum, whatever the brand. It is so obvious – it has a stronger scent and can last for longer than Eau de toilette… So I thought why on Earth I would buy the exact same smell if Eau de parfum was simply of a better quality, like? And in the long run, I won’t finish the bottle that quickly… (two birds with one stone! 😉 )

Oh, how wrong I was! The aromas, they do differ! 🙂

It is not only the amount of pure perfume essence that does the trick, the whole combination of essential oils and flower extracts is different, too.. Probably not always, though. But no true artist would ever disclose a detailed composition of their creation, I think. There has to be room for mystery, for imagination..

And then people change, so as their tastes. Everything spins faster nowadays. There are less signature fragrances, as such. We tend to have more moods, we need a different fragrance for those moods, we seem to like a lot more different things.. Everything is changing. Something you hated some time ago, you might adore today. Strange, isn’t it?

So, here I am, with newly rediscovered old scent.. Enjoying every sniff of it not because it might bring the past, but because I am getting to know the new me.. And I am loving it! 🙂
